The simple yet organic shape of this fruit bowl, named “Migiwa” which means “beach”, was inspired by traces in the sand after a wave. Beautifully crafted in iron, laser-cut and hammered by skilled craftspeople at Nagae in Takaoka, a city which has prospered as a metalworking centre for four centuries.
