GENERAL INFORMATION

Any access or use of Tahito (www.tahito.net) signifies your consent to the following terms and conditions. Prior to taking any legal or action otherwise, please contact us to notify us of the nature of the query. Tahito reserves the right to amend prices on the site at any time.

PAYMENTS

Our shopping cart is securely hosted by Shopify and our store accepts credit card payments via PayPal. You can make payment safely with or without a PayPal account. Personal information entered is encrypted using the highest available security PCI-DSS certification, and no information including credit card numbers is ever stored.

HOW TO PAY WITHOUT A PAYPAL ACCOUNT
  1. Simply pick your items, check out and provide your shipping address, as well as choosing a shipping method. Then press the button “Processed to Billing Information”.
  2. You will be redirected to PayPal to handle your payment. There your order summary will appear. Please press the tab “Don't have a PayPal account?”. The form will then appear, allowing you to submit your credit card information and easily fulfill your order.

If you would like to pay with your PayPal account, press the tab “Pay with my PayPal account” instead of “Don't have a PayPal account?” and provide your login information.

BACKORDERS

As we start small, occasionally items may become oversold and result in backorder. If backordered item/s are included in your order, we will inform you how long it takes to get restocked and ask if you would like to wait or cancel an order in whole or in parts. Your order will not be shipped until all items are available, unless you prefer to receive items separately by paying extra shipping cost.

RETURNS and EXCHANGES

We will only provide a refund for damaged or defective items. To return or exchange a product, you must first contact us within 5 days of receiving your purchase by email with the order number and pictures of the damaged or defective item/s. Tahito will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication and valid return authorization number.

To return the shipment, it is strongly recommended that customers use an appropriate carrier with a tracking system, because we do not accept or resume any responsibility for loss of or damage to returned goods whilst in transit from the customer. All charges incurred as the result of an exchange or return (i.e. shipping, duties and taxes) are the customer’s responsibility. Upon inspection and approval, exchange or refund or store credit will be provided.

We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages. Tahito will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company as needed. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the shipping company.

PRIVACY POLICY

Tahito respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. Your personal information will not be collected unless given by you voluntarily and knowingly. In the case you do submit personal information to us, it may be stored by Tahito and may be used by Tahito to contact you. Your personal information will not be sold, rented or disclosed to a third party for use in marketing or solicitation. Tahito will confidentially maintain your personal information and will use it only to enhance or support your relationship with us.
